"Picture This" Vest | |
This basic vest pattern has slightly extended shoulders and a slightly extended waist, giving it a nice balance for real-life figures. Sizes are XS - XXL. The vest provides a blank canvas for you to create your own picture, or you can use the one supplied. Also consider using the "Picture This Techniques" or "African Safari of Design" booklets for design ideas. |

A Line Coat | |
This is a classic A-line coat pattern that offers two technique options: strip-piecing arrangement of units or blocks, or arrangement by pre-selected rows. You also have a choice of patch, keyhole, or side-seam pockets, and a choice of three collars: the convertible collar, mandarin collar, or the collarless version. Finally, you may choose to bind off the coat at the hem and the sleeve or you may follow the directions for lining the coat. Decisions, decisions! This is a multi-size coat with set-in sleeves and it provides an excellent canvas for your quilt blocks, ethnic fabrics, conversation prints, or fabrics with special themes. |

The Boxy Coat | |
This is a great oversize coat that looks good regardless of your figure. As with my other patterns, the coat is a blank canvas on which you can create your own masterpiece, or go with some of the designs supplied. The "Picture This" Techniques and the African Safari of Design booklets can also provide additional inspiration and ideas. |

Use your imagination or use the designs supplied for creating the central subject of the quilt. You can also use my "Picture This" Techniques booklet for inspiration and guidance. |

The Monster Purse | |
On an episode of HGTV's 'Simply Quilts", I was challenged to create something using the Feathered Star Block. The Feathered Star Block is one monster of a block, so they called it the Monster Block Challenge. I was inspired to create a large purse that featured the block and I called it the Monster Purse. You can make this large purse using the feathered star block or you can use a block of your own choosing. For something even easier, you can replace the block with a fabric panel. We have also included two other patterns for different sized purses and a complete quilt pattern for those of you who prefer to make a quilt. The choice is yours! |
