"Diggin" Marcia Derse

I discovered Marcia Derse fabrics several years ago while teaching in AZ. I began collecting them, while waiting and biding my time for the right pattern to come along. I finally broke into the collection when I saw Sam Hunter’s pattern, Loose Change.  I did not want to cut the fabrics into smaller pieces, and this pattern was perfect for that goal. I really like this pattern because it reminds me of something I tell my students. Whenever they ask me what pattern they should use to make a garment, I always tell them, "Choose a pattern that will give you a garment you like wearing. Think about what you wear and what your style is and what your shape is, in reality, and choose something that fits you and your style."
