Vittoria's Red Coat

This coat was made to match Rachel's red heart coat, which was not designed as a holiday garment. Rachel added green lining to Vittoria's coat to make the mini-version of the coat more Christmas-y.

Rachel used square and rectangle piecing on a child's vintage coat pattern. The collar and sleeves have a double row of top-stitching and the back has a single pleat to add fullness to the bottom of garment.

Our neighbor did a great job modeling this one!
